VF1 Combi FilterRainwater filter for installation inside or on the tank. The VF1 Combi has the cleaned water outlet at the bottom of the filter. Whilst the dirt is washed away sidewards, the bottom cleaned water outlet position makes installing the filter in tanks very easily and practically. Where used before the tank, the Combi gives a high degree of flexibility to the angle of direction of the cleaned water outlet pipe, feeding to the rainwater tank. The VF1 Combi can also be fitted directly to the top surface of the rainwater tank, using a seal we can provide. This means it is acting as a second turret to the tank.

Same functionality as 3P Volume Filter VF1 (a pre-tank filter).

Connection capacity according to DIN 1986 for roof areas up to 350 m².

Max. Flow Rate Sieve insert 1,5 l/sec = 5,4 m³ cleaned water per hour.

Height difference between inlet and outlet 300 mm.

The cleaned water can be used in washing machines, toilet flushing and garden watering, in homes, in commerce, in public buildings and in industry.

The filter has to be cleaned depending on the contamination 1 – 2 times during the year.

How it works

As water arrives the level builds up and is equally distributed across the cascade.

Pre cleaning through the cascades. Largest dirt particles are led across the primary filter cascades directly to waste.

Pre filtered water then flows over the secondary filter sieve (mesh size 0,65 mm). Due to the special mesh structure of the sieve, any dirt washes directly to waste which means the filter is self cleaning, with very low maintenance.

Cleaned water flows to the cistern through the outlet at the bottom of the filter.

Dirt goes to waste.

Rainwater Harvesting - Sinus FilterRainwater filter for installation within rainwater tanks. Ideal for retro-fitting in existing tanks, because the 3P Sinus Filter has no height difference between rainwater inlet and outlet to the waste water sewer. The filter cartridge lies diagonally (offset) in the housing, promoting a sinusoidal flow pattern increasing the available surface area of the filter mesh and achieving high efficiency, therefore even more water can be saved in comparison to conventional “straight through” filters.

Optional 3P Back-washing Device. The 3P Sinus Filter is ideally suited for use in conjunction with a 3P Overflow Siphon and the 3P Calmed Inlet.

Low maintenance, self cleaning, cleaning frequency depends upon the solid loading the rainwater.

Connection capacity for roof areas up to 200 m².

All connections DN 100 (110mm OD)

Height difference of 0 mm (zero) between rainwater inlet and waste water outlet.

Mesh size of filter cartridge 0.7 x 1.7 mm.

The cleaned water can be used in washing machines, toilet flushing and garden watering, in homes, in commerce, in public buildings and in industry.

How it works

Rainwater flows onto the filter cartridge and because of its offset inclination the water is slowed down.

Because of the smooth surface structure of the filter the dirt is quickly rinsed away into the sewer.

The cleaned rainwater flows through the metal mesh into the tank.

Advice:

Due to the horizontal position of the filter cartridge, the filter gets dirty more rapidly than a filter cartridge with steep inclination. We therefore recommend using the 3P Back washing Device and regular cleaning with detergent and brush in order to degrease the filter netting.

Rainwater Harvesting - Twin FilterRainwater filter for large roof areas. The Twin Filter can be installed in chambers underground or directly on the wall kept frost free. Usually installed in standard 1000mm manholes. The filter could also be pre-installed in chambers prior to delivery to site.Due to its two step cleaning system, it has a high level of filtering efficiency, independent of flow rate. Due to the steep inclination of the filter cartridge the dirt is continuously cleaned away into the sewer. The cleaned water is collected in a tank and directed into the storage. The 3p two step filtration system is a tried and tested proven technology.

Connection capacity for roof areas up to 800m². A bypass-installation can be used to connect to a bigger area.

Rainwater inlet: 2 x DN 100/ DN 150 (110mm/160mm OD)
Tank inlet: 2 x DN 100/DN 150 (110mm/160mm OD)
Outlet into sewer: 2 x DN 100/ DN 150 (110mm/160mm OD)

The filter has to be cleaned depending on the contamination 1 – 2 times during the year.

How it works

Incoming rainwater collects in the inlet weir sump, from which it must weir over onto the filter units (overflow principle)

Cleaning takes place over the two cascades. Larger dirt particles are washed directly to waste off the primary cascade.

Pre filtered water then flows over the secondary filter sieve (mesh size 0.65 mm). Due to the special mesh structure of the sieve, any dirt washes directly into the sewer.

The filter water collects in the central sump and passes via both clean water outlets to collection tanks.

The dirt that has been filtered out is washed to waste via the two outlets.

Rainwater Harvesting - Volume Filter VF2Rainwater filter for bigger roof areas. Filter for installation in a concrete manhole (Ø 1000 mm). Standard concrete shafts or similar load bearing chambers can be used. The filter can be delivered to directly to the site, yet pre-assembled in the shaft.

Two step cleaning system, therefore high level of filtering efficiency, independent of flow rate.

Due to the steep inclination of the filter cartridge the dirt is continuously cleaned away into the sewer. The connection to the sewer is installed at the shaft. The dirt falls down on the bottom of the shaft and is washed away with the next strong rainfall.

Relative connection capacity according to DIN 1986 for roof areas up to 1200 m². Because of a Bypass-Installation a bigger area can be connected.

Inlet rainwater DN 200
Outlet into tank DN 150
Outlet into sewer DN 200
Height difference between inlet and outlet 320 mm.

The filter has to be cleaned depending on the contamination 1 – 2 times during the year.

How it works

As water arrives the level builds up and flows evenly across the width of the filter cascade.

The largest dirt particles flow across the primary filter cascades directly to the sewer.

Pre filtered water then flows over the secondary filter sieve (Mesh size 0.4 x 1 mm). Due to the special mesh structure of the sieve, any dirt falls directly down onto the bottom of the shaft. In case of heavy rainfalls, the filter has more loss, as the water washes away the filtered dirt into the sewer.

The cleaned water is being absorbed in the lower tank and directed through a tube DN 150 (160mm OD) into the storage.

Dirt goes to the sewer through the shaft.
